For this assignment, we were told to create a story using 15 camera shots using certain kinds of shots to express what was going on in the story.
I ended up making my story about two people that I represented as hands, both reaching for the same object. At first, they were angry with each other about who was going to get the marker, but then they realized they should work together instead of arguing and then later became friends.
I think I did very well with sharing the story through the shots I took and with figuring out which kind of shot to use for every part of the story, even though I did not use words or expressions. Next time I complete an assignment where we use different types of shots and angles, I think I need to make the images a bit clearer. I also need to zoom out more when taking long shots or establishing shots so that way the viewer can see the whole environment a bit more. Overall, I felt pretty confident with how I told the story of the two hands. I think the message I was trying to get across was expressed very well and it was easy to understand.
