For this project, we were given a word and told to create a short film with the word we were given being used as the theme of our film. Our film had to represent that word using no sound only specific camera angles, shots, movements and editing techniques.
The word I received was "regret". I created a story about two girls who used to be best friends but got into an argument that ended their friendship. The story was told in the girl who had started the argument and ultimately was in the wrong's perspective to emphasize on the "regret" theme.
To plan this project, I created a storyboard and a brainstorming sheet to guide me throughout the film making process. The storyboard helped me visualize how I wanted the overall film to look like. I made sure my storyboard showed the location and shots, angles, and movements I wanted for each clip.
To edit my project, I used adobe express on my clever dashboard. I used this to make my clips flow and be in order, so my overall film looked clean and nice. I used this to insert clips, make them shorter and change the coloring.
I thought overall my project was very good in the future I would take more time to perfect everything and make sure the clips show the theme of my film better and more detailed.
